Text. The Department of Occupational and Environmental Health makes an impact on the health of individuals, groups, and populations. Issues of occupational and environmental health weave through our daily lives in the 21st century.

They surface as hazards in our place of work, which can be a farm or a factory as well as an office building.

They also affect our personal health in the form of environmental pollution, or injuries, or exposure to toxic agents. Our degree programs, whether the master of science (MS), doctorate (PhD), or master of public health (MPH), combine academic training and field research to prepare students for career success. Graduates go on to work in industry, government, medicine, academia, even international health.
